I have posted a number of my completed AVR projects on the "Share your working BASCOM...." Usergroup and I am now going to try my hand at a BASCOM-programmmed Arduino. I want to use the Arduino GSM shield to provide for remote video monitoring of my cabin. I don't find much about the use of the shield in the BASCOM forum so if anyone has any completed BASCOM programming for this shield to offer I would appreciate it. |

I didn't receive any replies to my posting of several months ago so I went ahead with a SIM900 2G modem and later a SIM5216A 3G modem. The results of the
latter effort I just posted a few days ago. Both are working well but the SIM900 will fail in January 2017 when AT&T drops their 2G service. That was one of the reasons I went to the SIN5216A.

I have included much detail in the program listing and also have included the electrical schematic. Also if you look at my posting for the SIM900 you will find results from a logic analyzer that show the timing of various events. If you still need more information please be specific and I will try to help. |
