I noticed on the Authors website, he has support for using the XRAM on a system, like a RAM Disk.
This is fine and dandy, as I have a 32KB XRAM on my device that I am not really using for anything.
However, It seems when you boot the CPU and initialize AVR-DOS it wipes out and re-writes the XRAM with the example thats posted on the authors site.
But I have an I2C EEPROM that is 128K in size on board, i was wondering if there is a way to initialize AVR-DOS for XRAM without erasing the XRAM? I can back up the entire XRAM into the EEPROM, and restore from EEPROM using my own code, and a pointer to the XRAM address.
Almost no different than having a battery-backed SRAM as XRAM.
