Hello Benoit,
How fast is it from playing one Wav, to the the loading and running of another wave? The files would be reasonably small, the files I created @22k are around 500bytes to 1K so far.
Would it be fast enough that "Strings of words" could be spoken without significant delay betreen using small strings of words or spoken numbers. (as each individual wavs)
Regards

Here You have this project tunned for Internal 8MHz countdown from 10 to 0 and Ignition (file in attachment)
Words on card could be further trimmed...
You can look how this work on my channel on YouTube https://youtu.be/BNt-JCinm94
I decided to create a channel with the same name as my homepage.
Loading files is not a problem as You can see. "POOF" is generated when files change. I had no time and no need yet to look how this fix.
Maybe You can
So look into code. I optimize interrupt with my new tool for Bascom. Also CTC mode is used instead load_timer..there will always be something to improve..
Have a nice day |

I use Audacity Freeware.
When You have file recorded 22kHz then
->Export audio -> (find between Mp3,Wav ) "Another File Format" ->Non Compressed PCM Wav 8bit
This will save file as WAV so You must rename it to 11 characters long name. Best way to do this is copy new name from Bascom code, then right click on file name ane select "rename" and paste this copied name from bascom code. I use this way because in Windows I cannot add spaces to name of the file but when they are copied file name have 11 characters. |

EDC,
Do you hear the "click" sound after each file if you replay them in Audacity or any other player? Is the click caused by the Bascom code perhaps?
Cheers,
