|
|
I am working on small project with 2 ds1621 temperature captor and an eeprom 24c256 to store temperature.
I would like to make a small web server, where i could see the temperature in real time, take the data of the 24c256 and make a graph. The main program for the temperature is done.
Does anyone know a good tutorial for web server ( coding and connecting to an atemel µc) or a good sample ? Cause i handle bascom pretty well, but no idea how to program a web server
Thanks a lot |

Why not just hold that data in a simple table , export it via the network and generate the graph on the remote computer based on the data of the microcontroller? |

Hello Zolsi,
Running PHP and Mysql on this platform is a good idea,
but it guess it is not possible using an AVR.
What yoou can do, is making the chip to 'post' its
temperature to a simple PHP script on an external
server. (So lets say it adds entries to a simple
guestbook)
You can then write another php script on the server
the make the graphs. (Takes some knowledge of
PHP to do so, but it sure is possible)
* * * * *
Another option is to save the temperature in the
controller EEPROM. And that you use Java Script on
an external server to read the data from the chip
and to create the graphs.
