this file is supplied with the software.
if you can not find it contact support@ and provide info about the version and serial.

Thanks for reply. May be not available as I am using a demo, downloaded from site today.

i advise to install it again (with admin rights). but install into a user folder like c:\bascom-8051

when the other dats are shown, you must be mis reading since this file is included since bascom-LT.

I am sure sir, it is not in drop down list. I uninstalled and installed fresh in diff directory. Checked throughly. Any other possibility to get the file sir ? Regards,

the file is in the setup. the only way to get it is this : look at the dat files, one by one. maybe you did not noticed but the files start with a number. and you need the 89C2051.DAT.
if it is not there, i advise to check your PC for a virus. O, and also make sure the pc does not contain cracked versions of bascom. these can give random odd effects. but with the demo downloaded from mcselec.com all should be fine.

As advised by you, we again checked, scanned for viruses and installed on other new laptop. It seems many dat files are missig along with 89C2051 file.

Sir, any possibility to get old version of BASCOM 8051- Compiler Version 2.0.14.0 ?
I remember, we could work with that compiler well for AT89C2051 chip and some how we lost setup file.

Again, the file is in the setup. If it does not install there is a problem with your pc. if you ever installed a version not downloaded from mcselec.com i advise to remove it. And check your PC for a virus.
Or try to install on a different PC or virtual machine.
Support is only available if you have the commercial version.
