I have a general question on the port of the w5100 using config TCPIP.

The hardware is the Arduino M2560/Ethernet Shield W5100.

The server works just fine when defaulted to port 80. ex.

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to 192.168.125.199

When I port forward from my static IP aaddress in my DSL router

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:6800 to 192.168.125.199:80

It does not work. The port is open as I have checked with web port open tools.

I have also disabled my firewall as well during testing. It appears to be a routing issue but don't see it. Pretty simple to setup the forwarding and the ports do open up.

I do this with a Panasonic web camera and it works just fine.

I would really like to have the wiznet at port 6800 as well. In the code. Localport =1000 so I am not sure how it is getting to port 80.

DL'd the datasheet and reviewing. Any push in the right direction would be great.

TIA,

Mark
