In recent years LCDs have switched to a "wide screen" format.

When using the IDE I have one column of code visible down the left side of the display, but a lot of "empty room" on the right side of the display.

In MS Word one can change the display to show two pages on the same screen, side-by-side.

I wondered if there is a setting somewhere that allows one to do something like this with the Bascom IDE?

I know I can open separate files, and position them so one is on the left half of the screen the other one is on the right, but I am interested in having just one file open, and being able to see more of the program without scrolling.

Thank you,

JC

Hi,

You could use a monitor with pivot functionality.

Like that: LINK

Best regards,

Hi Luciano,

It is always good to hear from you!

Orienting the display vertically would certainly be an option.

I was hoping for a horizontally oriented, software based solution. Wink
