Hubert - Thanks for the positive feed back. I was not even sure it would work, the servos are lo cost cheepees. They have a small thermal drift that a better servo would not have but other than that they rock. As my younger friends say. I should do another video with the tempo cranked up. It's fun to hear Marry had a little lamb played it just a few seconds of time. - Dave

Not at this time. The code is a rough first draft. I may share it when it's somewhat improved.

In the mean time here is an example of fast play. I hope it make you smile. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWB-L06G7rA

Like a record breaking Minute Waltz in 3 seconds.
Very astonished that it works that fast.

Digital servos against all believes are not noticeably faster at max., maybe a few milliseconds if you look at the datasheets.
The feedback pots are usually more of a problem than anything else when temp. changes.

This is phantastic.
The BASCOM MUSIC MAN.
Keep the good work up.

Mark - I like that idea. It could have many more notes that way.

Paul - No, I just used what was at hand. There are so many possibility. This project was started as a door bell and mail box bell. It can play different tunes for different events. That's why the wireless bit is in there.

Thanks for the ideas,
Dave

Another idea! Put it inside a plush toy then you could have a xylophone playing dog for example. Maybe you have just invented your new product Very Happy
