|
|
Hi,
Since upgrading from x.9.4 to x.9.8 I have had poor results trying to program an ATtiny261 using the dependable STK200 style ISP programmer.
If I "refresh" my fuse bits, about 50% of the time they are shown correct. If I program the flash then verify, I get differences and the differences are always at different locations in memory.
Ponyprog works fine and I am using XP. It sounds like a timing problem with the port but I have played around with the port delay and no difference could be detected.
Any ideas out there? Thank you..... |

Hi,
Try increasing the delay of the programmer.
Options -> programmer -> Port delay _________________ www.evertdekker.com Bascom code vault |

Hi Evert,
I did that. No difference could be observed. I am not sure what the units are in but I went right up to 500. I can only assume that represents 500ms?
Cheers,

Hello Nard,
Nice write up on your web page. I will give it a try.
I just found it curious that the only thing I changed was the Bascom version.
Cheers,

If you read on that page my experience, just a different type of connector, you may come to the same conclusion as I did.
These PPPD's keep causing issues. As soon as you can afford a decent programmer: go for it
