Has anyone seen a PCB for an XMEGA that brings the surface mount pins out to a 40 pin DIP sized board. The pinout could be similar to a M32. The new PDI program port would be on the Board OR maybe a bootloader in the xmega that could emulate SPI programing. Sounds like a good little product for those who wont the new features without the hassle or upgrading old PCBs and development hardware.

Hi,

You might want to try doing a search on "surfboard" smt.

As an isslustration, here is one from Digikey, but it only has 20 pins. Also, this is a SIP not a DIP package.

Good luck in your hunt.

Pete
