Hi,
I have LCD 255x40 dots with ST7529. When it init according to the datasheet page 56 so to display anything is displayed. Can somebody advice me?

wich operational mode do you use ?
8 bit ,4 bit ,serial ?
if you use the 8 bit mode you can check if the controller as received the command otherwise not. |

hello
may be it is just a problem of contrast level,
like the lcd contrast is digital , if you don t put the right value in register you display nothing.
, you can try to scan the VOLTCTRL register vith different value |

Maybe there is a problem in the format of DATA witch I sent them to displaying.
I send cmd &h30, cmd &h15 and data for colum, cmd &h75 and data for line, cmd &h5C for memory writeing mod and now I do not understand exactly what data should I send him. |

HI
i see you use the soft spi
may be you can try with command shiftout that you can better parameter
Tcmd &H81 <---- is command for contrast of the display
Tdat &H0A <- --- you can try several value for check the right one
Tdat &H05 <- --- you can try several value for check the right one |

Hi, I found the problem in the setting "Common scan (COMSCN) - Parameter Byte: 1 (BBH)" and the "Data scan direction (DATSDR) - Parameter Byte: 3 (BCH)" I try change the value and now it is OK.
