What is the importance of using interrupts?
When and why should they be used?
If a code works without using or enableing interrupts, is that a bad thing?
Should interrupts be used in the following code, which is part of a program? (it works)
To me, the use of a timer rather than the WAIT command gives you a much more precise timing scheme. Look at your thread about the inaccuracies of the WAIT command.
Personally, I have never used a timer in a program. Mostly because I didn't take the time to learn them! So far, I can live with the relative sloppiness of the WAIT command.
