|

Hi!
My easyTCP/IP does still not work. The SMD Vreg gives 3.0V at Uin = 5V.
It should be 3.3V?
Can please someone measure in a working System?
And there is an other thing I#m not shure about:
When powered, but not programmed, does the green connection led on the RJ45 connector lit? Mine does not....
Please help me, I'm desperate! |

The SMD Adapter-board uses a 3.0 Vreg. In the manual they mention a 3.3V regulator, but thatīs a mistake. The 3.0Vreg works, but it got me away from my major problem:
I switched DIP7 and 8 OFF.
Thatīs OK for the conventional adapter, NOT for the SMD adapter. There ONLY DIP8 is to switch OFF. |

Yes, got it working since an couple of days. And I found out some interessting facts:
1: The SMD board uses a 3.0V reg. That differes to the manual, which says a 3.3V reg was used. 3.0V works fine, but I meassured a lot to find the "missing" 0.3V. That confused me for a week or so.
2: On the SMD board (which I use) the DIP sw 8 ONLY has to be in OFF position. That confused me for another week...
I must admitt, thatīs described in the manual, I just needed to read it to the end.
The LED lightshow behavior seems to depend on what was programmed last in the NM7010A, so this is not a reliable aspect. |
