I purchased the BTC ZL10AVR evaluation board and ZL1USB USB converter a few months ago. I have never been able to program a single chip. Emails to Kamami went unanswered. Mark at MSC did give some support, but still no success. At the time I suggested that I was sold a dud, but Mark would not agree. I have sent another email, but I am in a 200 hour support que.
This is my latest email below. Has anyone purchased these and have you got them to work?

Mark,
I still cannot use this evaluation board. I have been using another as I
could not get it to work, but now I have no choice but use it, as it is the
only board I have that will program a ATtiny26.
There are so many jumpers on this board and so many programmer options in Bascom that there are thousands of combinations. I need help...
I am using the ZL1USB USB converter.
Jumper JP21 = pins 3-4
Jumpers JP9, JP10 and JP11 = pins 1-2
Jumpers JP8, JP12, JP13 and JP14 = pins 2-3
If this is correct, then what "programmer" do I select in the software? I am
sure I have tried all the options.
P.S. My other development/evaluation board is the MikroElektronika EasyAVR4.
Very good product and no jumpers. It just works out of the box no matter
what chip you use. Only down side...it does not take the Tiny26.

Hello Ray
In the last contest of www.mcselec.com I have won a ZL10AVR. After it arrived it took me some time to get it working. But now it works. There are a few things I have noticed:
1. In the box there is a CD with PDF and Bascom-examples. I have a Rev. 3 board and on the CD there was a schematic of another revision. Furthermore everything in Polish. The IC-sockets for the AVR microcontroller are renumbered, so you get easy mixed up. On the www.kamami.com site you can download the good schematics of the right revision.
2. Another thing I noticed is that the powersupply must be very good. On the AVR Ethernet board I use a cheap powersupply but that wasn't good enough for this board. I replaced it and the programs start running and also the AVR-ISP STK200 compatible socket was working.
3. About your jumpers. There are a lot of jumpers. But because this is a versatile board you need them. I also got the STK500-board and on that even more jumpers. I started with an Atmega644 and I had to change only JP17 (Led display) to get the board running with the LED7S.bas example. The jumpers are grouped so if you use a certain microcontroller you know you have to change the jumpers belonging with this socket.
4. The XILINX XC9572XL is a traffic controller and perhaps we need some more information how this is working.
Hope you give it another try. If you want some more information or some pictures of my board, just reply in this forum.
Have fun

Hi guys.
This attachement could help for jumper and polish language problem.
The ZL10AVR have ISP socket that are compatible with Kanda STK200/300 pinouts, as a bzijlstra said.
Have a fun. _________________ I hope You will understood my worse english
