I am a new user to the Bascom AVR Compiler. I have downloaded
the pdf Manual. The first page is a series of "Jump Links" to all the
important things to know. My problem is none of the links work.
I have tried Acrobat 5 and 6 under Windows and Linux. They do
not work at all.
Does anyone know if there is a setting or other reason for these not
to work? Without them it is difficult to find what you want amoung
370 pages.
Thank You

i heard that SHift + clicking link will work sometimes..
And otherwise use search function from acrobat reader...
Also if you are a beginner i sugest you begin with something simple.. There is a very nice starter guide only it is in dutch.. AN110 i though. Peter dams avr course.. Maybe you can use babblefish or something like that to translate it.. _________________ Bascom AVR 1.11.8.8 full version

Thank You for all the replies. I tried the Shift + Click to no avail. I have been using the find feature it works but is a little slow.
I am a true Western Canadian, I speak only Engish. However my wife speaks English, French and Spanish and our daughter can speak Cantonese. So there is hope for the future generations. I looked at the French site and it looks very good. I will try and plow through with my very ancient high school French.
Thanks Again

Hi,
The original Bascom HTML HELP file is also good.
(File BASCAVR.chm, Version 1.11.7.7).
I like its "Block" and "Previous Topic / Next Topic"
selection features just above the main text.
* * *
Bascom has two help file formats:
- The WinHelp file format. (File: BASCAVR.hlp).
- The Windows HTML HELP file format.(BASCAVR.chm)
Best regards,
Luciano |
