Hello,
I'd like to create a minimal board for the FT232BM USB chip. The manual emphazises the necessity to use a "ferrite bead" to reduce noise.
They suggest to take an MI0805K400R-10 (40Ohms @ 100mhz, SMD)
Living in Germany I wouldn't like to buy one ferrite bead in the USA
( Digi-key: 0.58€ for 10 and 31€ for shipping & handling :) )
and Farnell would let me order in lots of 1000 or so :)
Do You have a tip which part to use and where to buy?
I'm talking about 10 or so specimens ...
I have a lot of skills with FTDI chips and I not use FB at all and I not see any problems or unstability and that chips are used in car diagnostic environment (OBD). You can forget FB. _________________ Best regards,
