I guess my earlier reasoning holds true only for the interrupt thrown by Config Serialin AND the when registers are not saved in the ISR. |

One thought.
Print #2 and Printbin #1 are not (and cannot be) buffered.
This means that when these statements are executing, they are subject to being "interrupted" by the TIMER ISRs.
