i use the FindFirstFileA function to see if a file exists because other windows functions have problems with network drives.

No it had nothing to do with libs, only with $include files.
Please send smallest possible program that demonstrates the problem.
Also let me know the windows version. |

yes, i have this one too. But when you use/need usb (libusb) i think the original atmel programmer (30$) is the better choice since it works with both studio and bascom.

you make a classic error : the AVR uses the PIN registers for reading the logic level at it's input pins.
so change :
Button Alias Portb.0
into:
Button Alias PINB.0
and it should work fine. |

A lower prescale will result in the fact that the interrupt routine is called more often. if you call it all the time, it means your main program is interrupted the whole time, slowing down all code.

I only support the mcs bootloader.
adding a delay to your code would solve the max driver problem. |

ok, now i found the problem. only printbin was supported, normal print did not use the xmega register. i changed it. |

I think all USR aliasses have been added to the xmega dat files.
can you confirm this is still a problem in 2040 ?

Always test with the latest available version (2.0.4.0)
If there is still a problem, send the code to support.
It could be the case you used CLOSE on a uart channel.
