Everything works if I use time$ like this:

but this datasheet is for SDXC Cards, which are not supported by AVR-DOS.
Do you have any experience with Kingston Cards and AVR-DOS? |

Now we have severe problems with the SD-Cards, we use Intenso 4GB Class 4 microSDHC.
About 50% of about 100 Cards are running, but the other ... |

I think your problem can be fixed by inserting a DIM BEFORE the config clock :
dim someByte as byte
config clock ...
I inserted already a DIM before Config Clock, because Time$ was not automatica ... |

I recently updated to 2.0.8.1
Now I have a problem with a I2C port.
I use 2 slaves at this I2C port.
RTC8564 and BMP180
BMP180 is read about every 50ms
RTC8564 is read every 1000ms

Thank you for your explanation.
Until now I used 1024 Bytes for Stacks and framsize, because XM256A3 has 16k SRAM and so it was no problem.
IDE states now 106, 14, 36 Bytes

there is simply no TCF1 in XMEGA 256A3 !!
