also, with explorer, right click the help file and chose properties.
Then click the UNBLOCK check box in the general tab page.
Dont know why it would block when previous version worked but this is ...

I tried to update.
Compiler build shows version 2.0.8.3.008 now.
But copying the Help files resulted in empty Help. Only Index, Contents on the leftside but empty Help documentation on the right sid ...

Great news, Microchip released the data sheet for the AVR DB Series, and the External HF Xtal clock option is back!
They also have a LOT of internal modules, (peripherals)!

Not stocked at Mouser ...

Money payments go fast these days. Got my Xtiny Add-on and working.
It took 5 mails, but they came within only a few minutes.
It includes a license check of your Bascom.

You have to do 2 installs ...

A problem with Xmega is that there are no PDIP.

I think it is good PDIP alternative to go to EasyEda and JLCPCB. They provide and assemble the "basic components" parts at low price, for stocked ...

The 2082 already has support : MCS UPDI programmer. all you need is a serial port. (max232 of usb virtual com).
The 2083 added writing of the fuses.
