you forgot to specify the mode : Mode = Asynchroneous
I assumed I could leave out options that don't need to change - asynch is the default setting for the Control C register.
Never assume anything ...

as simple as possible means also without the interrupt and buffered mode.
I remarked out Config Serout0 and Enable Interrupts, same result

simulator results:
USART0_BAUDH = &h00
USART0_BAUDL ...

This is my first try at ATTINY1604 serial communication.
I'm testing out the hardware and software serial communications by sending 4 bytes at 38400 baud.
(one gets remarked out while testing the ot ...

All good now ! Many thanks !

I never would have figured out the overlay thing. I use interrupts frequently on ATMega2560/1 and often write low and high register bytes separately and never had an ...

Thanks for the response:

1:
you need to reset the timer flag interrupt by writing a 1.
otherwise the timer will not appear again.

Working now.

I figured it had to do with the 200 offset, but I see many variables with lower addresses. I guess those are all register variables.

Thanks for the response!

I noticed something strange (or I don't understand) about the SRAM "space left" in the report:

I'm using ATMega2560 with 8K of internal SRAM.

from report:
Stack start : 21FF hex

I forgot about several interrupts defined in include files. I've been able to eliminate all but one compile error. Possibly due to AVR-DOS and SD card includes.

correct.

you best send the code to support to have it checked
I will do that.

Thanks!

the .org is used for interrupts.
so you probably used 4 interrupts.
I think the ON ISR is embedded in some module that is later called.
you best move it outside the sub into the main module.
