PostForum: BASCOM-ARDUINO   Posted: Tue Jul 28, 2015 12:25 pm   Subject: AVR Bascom v/s Arduino Programming Software
The Arduino platform appears to rely on set hardware whereas Bascom being just a programming language for AVR processors allows greater flexibility. For instance when very low power is needed and spee ...

Mark,

I don't understand why you regarded the post by Karan28 as inapropriate as he wrote "Are there any video tutorials to configure Arduino hardware with Bascom?".
Surely this is a worthy topic ...

Thanks Ian,

Unfortunately the hardware is currently not available to do further testing but I will up the SW stack size when I get a chance probably to about 32.
I suspect that it is most likely t ...

PostForum: BASCOM-AVR Unsupported versions   Posted: Sat Jun 13, 2015 2:31 am   Subject: Reset after returning from interrupt
I have a problem using an interrupt where I sometimes get a chip reset after returning from an interrupt.

I am using an ATMega8535 and use the default HW Stack value of 32, the SW Stack value of 8 ...

PostForum: BASCOM-AVR Unsupported versions   Posted: Wed Jun 03, 2015 2:18 pm   Subject: i2c interfacing problem
I am having trouble interfacing an ATMega8535 to a i2rom 24lc256.
The funny thing about it is that I have successfully done this before but no luck this time and can't work out if it is a h/w or s/w ...

Thanks Paul,
I don't understand why there needs to be a s/w directive to have the AVcc reference when simply connecting the hardware AVcc to the reference pin would do the same thing if the chip only ...

I am unsure about the Reference voltage on the ATMEGA8535.
I use an inductor and capacitor from the VCC to supply the AVCC ADC pin and just use a bypass cap on the AREF pin and of course the ADC grou ...

Well I found the answer:

If Pcint0 is changed to PcintB it compiles without errors - I presume the "B" corresponds to port B of the ATTiny4313??

So have I missed the documentation on this and ho ...
