I don't want to be tedious But others who read this may have some use of it.

Forget about windows 10. With win10 the Olimex requires updating of firmware (1.17 to 1.1Cool.

I tried the scan program and the result was 144 or Hex90
just like i should.
perhaps I could modify the program and see if I get an ack
when reading from the ADS.
