TYPE is a reserved word.
you better not use it.

instead of Writeeeprom you can best use the pseudo variable ERAM. Much simpler. See help : DIM var as ERAM byte

if you can not solve the problem ...

otherwise post some example code that shows the problem and post the xml option file you use (options, selected setting file will show you which file you have selected.

that is odd.
and when you use a different datfile it is still the same?

you can try to reset docking in options, environment, IDE. But as the window is visible i doubt that will work.

yes both need to be global which is the default.
from a technical point of view, it should be possible to use overlay on locals as well. never gave it much thought since using on a normal global var ...

DB is planned for 2085. (requires the xtiny add on)
But it does not support DA.
DA is similar without MVIO so it is probably cheaper.

yes it is named TPM. but only inside a VM it is not required. in a normal/real PC it is required. at least to the best of my knowledge.
i do not see a reason why bascom would not work but of course ...

you need mega328 ? how many and which casing?
