By chance I discovered that Bascom is doing an unexpected rounding by itself in special cases, but not always.
In the following example single and double have different behavior.
Single1=123.6: Word ...

Yes, I have already found a solution that is not too expensive. The multimeter has 6 different measurands and throughout 10 magnitudes of numbers. They are all different in the numeric display of the ...

I do not imagine that SN does not make sense for Double. But there are applications where SN disturbs a lot. And that's why config double=normal would make a lot of sense.
My application:

I was glad of hope but it stays with the scientific format:
Dim D as Double, Txt as string*16
D=0.1234567891234
Txt=str(D,Cool
Print Txt
Output: 123.45678912E-3

I want to output numbers on LCD and with serial output that need more digits than single variables offer. The Print with double goes to scientific format with numbers <1 and >1000. So I miss a " ...

Super Tip!
I never expect that the T861 has 2 SDA and SCL Pins. I dont need PortA for that. With the PortB-Pins it works.
I added the _CHIP=57 after _Chip=56 as you say and all is OK.
Thank you ver ...

I succeed in communication with the I2C-USI-Master and an I2C-EEPROM. I used Tiny84 with I2C_USI.lib. (Bascom 2079)
When I try this with Tiny861 there are a lot of error-messages after compilation.

thank you for the information. It becomes clearer. There is no wonder about the problems all around. I have never seen a pull-up in circuits with a level shifter.
