Actually, I realized one silly mistake.
Command = &B11010
then I shift out 5 bits MSB first. Since this is a byte the whole binary number would be 00011010 and I'm really sending 00011.

I'm trying to get an MCP3202 ADC to work with my Mega32. I have the same ADC working with a Cubloc device but can't seem to do so with the AVR.
I did have an MCP3302 connected and working and all I ... |

Ok, that figures. Right after I posted I decide to try shifting the result 2 bits to the right (again). Looks like I just missed having both the shiftin/out options set correctly at the same time as I ... |

Its odd, I can get SPI chips talking to Basic stamps, Propellers, and even Cubloc chips but I've never really been successful with Bascom. I'm hoping someone can tell me the secret formula!

Hey everyone,
I know this topic is probably discouraged due to the potential of piracy, but is it possible to translate assembly that was compiled using bascom, back into a bascom .bas?

I was thinking that very thing
Since this is RS-485 about the most units you could possibly have would be 128 (all 1/4 UL chips). In this particular application I can't see having more than 6 bu ... |

Yeah, I've done similar between a master and slave. What I'm looking for is something that deals with auto-configuration.
The easy way is to assign addresses on each board (physical or software) t ... |

I want to start playing with networked chips (RS-485 most likely) and while the hardware part is simple I'm having a hard time figuring out (or finding) a protocol to use.

So far the graphic drivers are limited to byte wide addresses. That means 255x255 max. There aren't many 255x255 displays around so for the most part the largest displays are 240x128. The SED1520, T69 ... |

Doh, that was circumferance, you're right! Its Pi * R ^2 not 2*Pi*R.
So the above should be
total area 14.13
500 lbs / 14.13 sq. inches = 35.39 PSI
35.39 + 40 = 75.39 PSI
69 * 14.13 = 97 ... |

No, he was writing 16 bytes at a time. But good catch on the delay - I didn't include the 5ms wait in my example. You do have to wait about 5MS between writes. I usually wait about 8 just to be safe. |

The ADC automatically provides 0s for any extra bits clocked out and I've ... |
