The encoder that is used is a Bourns PEC16.
This is a normal encoder that works the same as the encoder used to expain the working of the encoder statement in the help.

After adding a folder named DAT inside the Bascom-AVR folder en copied all the .dat files from the Bascom-AVR folder to the DAT folder the problem is fixed |

After updating Bascom 2.0.8.1 to 2.0.8.2 from the SLA i get the message - DAT File:M644def.dat ,not found.
The file is present.
Anybody recognize this problem?
