Those XMegas (192 & 256) have the same amount of SRAM (16KB) so I think programs should work the same on both Very Happy
If amount of SRAM differ then only programs for smaller SRAM uC should work on big ...

I think you can easly read them like any other register because addresses for them are included in DAT files.
Simply Dim Helpb As Byte and then Helpb = MCU_DEVID0 or MCU_DEVID1 or MCU_DEVID2 and MCU_ ...

It can be easly tested in the simulator. HWSTACK is too low. Also "Set Chb" does nothing because you can`t write into PIN register. Try "Portd = Portd Or &B0000_0011 "

There are specialized chips for that such of "address conflicts"
If this is only hobby "one or two units" project then use TCA9548A or simillar.
Only if cost of one of the "thousants" piece matter ...
