Since 1 July 2021 : atmega4808 atmega4809 (all tests performed with the 4809)
The current edition supports the other atmega processors as well.
The 2087 release will support the core2 AVR Xtiny processors like attiny1624/1626/1627/424/425/426/824/825/826
The 2087 release will also support all AVRDD processors and AVREA processors. Further it supports all AVRDA and AVRDB processors that had no DAT file yet.
This add on is a downloadable product. It requires BasCom-AVR 2086 or later. In order to buy you need to supply your BasCom-AVR serial number (as shown in help about) The add on offers DAT files, samples and a special lib. The license will be sent by sales separately. Since the license is linked to your BasCom-AVR serial, you need to supply your BasCom serial number.
Please note : since the license creation is a manual process it can take up to 24 hours before you receive the license file.
When you want to order both BasCom-AVR and the Xtiny add on, you can specify a serial AA-9907-00001. In that case we connect the new BasCom-AVR serial to the Xtiny Add on. In all other cases you need to provide a valid BasCom-AVR serial.
All tests were performed with the tiny816. Since this is a new platform you can expect some updates.
In version 2084 the Add on is extended with support for the Mega4808 and Mega4809. These are called megaX processors by MCS. Not to be confused with XMega.
Version 2085 adds support for the DB processors AVR128DB28 and AVR128DB64. Version 2086 added support for other DB and DD processors. Version 2087 (not available when we write this 13 feb 24) will support all existing processors except for the EB series which will be supported in 2088 release.
When you read the product description it might be confusing. But this product started as support for the atxtiny processors. Then it was enhanced with support for the megaX processors mega4808 en mega4809. And finally support for AVRX like 128DB64 was added. But the product name remains xtiny add on. The same license does however supports the different new platforms.
