If you like to use USB :
You must have the LIBSUSB drivers installed on your PC. Without it, it will not work
Did you install the LIBUSB ?
You can find it in bascom folder under \USB _________________ / Kim |

Hi Kits,
first of all: I use same programer. It's working great!
But you have to flash this programer with new Soft!
In Bascom search for FLIP
Install FLIP on your PC an follow Steps from Bascom help! after that it should work...

you have programmed it with FLIP?
In Bascom it is: USBprog Programmer / AVR ISP mkII
if you use SPI programming, select AVRISP protocol. _________________ For technical reasons, the signature is on the back of this message. |

hello again
@six did you used exactly this programmer?
http://www.fourwalledcubicle.com/LUFA.php
i update at90usb162 to last file LUFA 101122 for mkii
but bascom avr can't work with that
this is my screen shot , i think bascom not compatible by this programmer because error about data and stk500 and ....
when i want start program by this program in bascom avr after 1 second the bascom hang up and after 20 second close automatic windows of programmer |

Kits, trust me, it works!
following are instructions from Mark, to programm the Device:
Quote: |
- press reset button on programmer
- you get in Windows device manager an atmel dfu device
- in bascom, options programmer, select FLIP
- then open attached files and save on pc
- open the bas file
- press F4, it will send the hex file
- now device is programmer with avrdude (libusb) firmware.
