Mark, also from my side a big THANK YOU and congratulations!
I started with Bascom-8051 (more then 15 years ago and it stills in use) and chanched later to AVR's.
I tried C in different flavors, but Bascom is "my" language, I understand what's happen, and it is
not necessary to write such crypto-code to let a LED blink:
{
DDRB |= _BV(DDB0);
while(1)
{
PORTB ^= _BV(PB0);
_delay_ms(500);
}
}
My big wish is, to have a Bascom-SAM for the Atmel SAM Controllers ... ....
Kind regards from Switzerland

Thanks a lot Mark for making Bascom.
I've done a lot of Projects with Bascom.
There is no limit, if you go with Basom. Limits are only in head of someone
So stay creative and go ahead Mark! _________________ For technical reasons, the signature is on the back of this message. |

I started using BASCOM-AVR Demo in 06 and eventually moved into the licensed version for my commercial product. It is awesome!
I wouldnt mind playing with BASCOM-LT for nostalgic reasons as I still own a couple Win3.1 machines. Would be kind of neat, functional or not... |

thanks all for the congrats
i think the LT demo is still available for download?
If not send an email to support and i dig up some copy for you. it probably need to be retrieved from a backup disk. I do not have a win3.1 VM but i think LT will run on Win95 too. _________________ Mark |

Next year will be a little sad as bascom becomes of age and gets the keys to the door and wants to go out with other programs
Party time next year 21

@ Mark Alberts,
thank you very much for making my life a lot more efficient than before BASCOM.
As you know. ASM takes a lot more time.
Meanwhile (since 2007) I have used it for an airspeed meter, 18ch servo controller, RC-radio receiver decoder,
Altitude, Gps , VTOL control, and when moving back to Austria next year (in retirement), the house will have keyless entry, solar, floorheat, alarm and other things...
all controlled by BASCOM. How is that for getting a BANG for your BUCK?
Thanks again and much success for the future.
I will continue with Bascom until my brain goes by by.
Best regards
Hubert |
