put a eram variable to a specific address

Hello,

what had to happen happened ...
I made an error in my program, I had to write my eram variable only 2 times a year. I did it every second and reading the memory location has become false Evil or Very Mad

So I try this :

Dim Emem As Eram Byte At &h66
...
it looks good. but is this correct, in other words

if an EEPROM cell is corrupted, is what others are good ?

Unlikely. If you wrote the EEProm once every second, it must have been 28 days of continous run, till 100k writes are done. Furthermore, 100k writes is the guaranteed count, afaik the EEProm was tested up to 900k writes, till memory cells got unreliable.
