|
|
Hello all,
Has anyone been able to get a bootloader to work via an RS485 interface in the middle? What I am suggesting is to use the same BASCOM Bootloader with the correct baud rate, but instead of a direct connection between the PC serial port, and the uC; a RS485 <--> RS485 exists in the middle.
If so can you share sample code?
Thank you,
Tim
(BASCOM-AVR version : 2.0.7.7 ) |

Hi,
Just use the Standard bootloader. You just Need to modify it a bit to handle the Setting/resetting of the transmit pin (Have a look at the config print command)

Ian,
I have got to tell you again, and Mark for the first time - THANK YOU!!
That is SOOOOO COOOOLLLLL! I had no idea that command even existed! I have always had to guess when to turn on/off RTS, and this is just amazingly COOL!
Again, thank you!!!!!
