Problem with Bascom IDE dont save settings of environment

Hello all together.

I have the following problem on one pc. Every time i start Bascom tips shows up even if i say don´t show again.
Then i change the settings for my environment and close bascom after a new start all changes lost and tips show up again.

I deinstall Bascom and install it completly new. Same problem.

Win10 32bit
Latest bascom version

have anyone a solution?

it could be the case the setting file is damaged. try this :
- run bascom
- click help about
- click xml data link
- exit bascom
- delete/rename the bascom-avr.XML file in the explorer window that opened

otherwise, check if you have write access in that folder. this is a user folder so you should have access there.

one other thing : make sure that if the bascom-avr.xml file is in the bascom-avr application folder, this folder is not write protected!
