|
|
Hello,
Also I was forced to make the step from XP to Windows7 64bit where I installed the latest Bascom with the .Lic file. Everything seems to work ; even my USBASP programmer seems
to work with Bascom in Windows 7. But .... when I write a new program , compile it , Bascom only generates the .bas - .bm - .cfg - .dbg files and no Hex and bin files. So , very difficult
to program a chip now. I tried to find sollutions in the forum but I don't seem to find any. Have someone of you have the same problem .... and a sollution?
Bascom is 2.0.7.9 and Windows is a 7 - 64 bit Professional.
Many thanks,
Ron,
(BASCOM-AVR version : 2.0.7.9 , Latest : 2.0.7.8 ) |

Just make sure that the folder where your project resides is not write protected.
And also : make sure the license dll is in the bascom application folder. it should be a genuine dll too.
you can also try to run bascom with admin rights to see if that helps. _________________ Mark |

My BASCOM is running OK on windows 10, but I think I had to run it as admin once to get it working correctly, then run it normally from then on.

Hi Mark ,
Thanks for the information .... it was the license file that wasn't in the bascom application folder. But it is the : BSCAVRL.DLL file that had to be there
and I'm not used to this license file. But now , everything is working well , thanks!!
Greetings,
