Hi all,

working on a small remote area (solar) watering system, monitors soil moisture with a simple two prong probe
encapsulated in plaster .

lots of configurable options, fertiliser dosing, e/c measurement, pump times etc.

im using an arduino uno board and lcd shield.

looking at either using an off the shelf EC shield to look after the AC probe measurement or may look at doing the AC on board (if I can figure out how).

cheers

Hello,
Would you please explain how you connect your arduino to bascom compiler, cables, etc..
because, I don't understand why I cannot load a program in my Arduino UNO
I Have a USB-ISP programmer, I try with different way and I haven't any success.

Thanks to your answers

Hi JP,

you don't need the USB-ISP just a standard micro USB cable, the arduino bootloader does all the work.
But maybe you've wiped the bootloader already by using it?, no problems - just use the ISP then.

(the brains on the main forum would be more helpful, I'm just a simple electrician stumbling my way through this stuff)

I took a screen capture of the programmer settings I'm using, see attached

also I'd install the arduino ide then you can check the board is working, comport settings ect.

cheers
Simon
